Connecticut State Police said the operator of a vehicle was kind enough to publicly live stream himself traveling on Interstate 95 over the Gold Star Memorial Bridge near Montville while driving at speeds reaching 100 mph before crashing.

The posted speed limit for the Gold Star Memorial Bridge is 55 mph.

"Speeding and live streaming are not only dangerous, but it is also illegal," the department said.

Luckily, the driver was wearing his seatbelt and wasn't seriously injured.
